Detection of M. genitalium, U. urealyticum and U. parvumAnyplex™ MG/UU/UP Real-time Detection enables simultaneous detection of Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) and Ureaplasma parvum (UP) by multiplex Real-time PCR. Anyplex™ MG/UU/UP Real-time Detection enables simultaneous detection of Mycoplasma genitalium (MG), Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) and Ureaplasma parvum (UP) by multiplex Real-time PCR using urine specimen, swab specimen (urethral, vaginal and cervical) and liquid based cytology specimen. MG, UU and UP are the pathogens associated with sexually transmitted infections such as urethritis, cervicitis, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and infertility. Fast and accurate diagnosis is important for treatments since most infections are asymptomatic. The conventional methods (ELISA, Giemsa stain, culture, etc.) for STD pathogen detection take several days or are poor in sensitivity. Anyplex™ MG/UU/UP Real-time Detection is an accurate and rapid diagnostic method for the detection of M. genitalium, U. urealyticum and U. parvum Anyplex™ MG/UU/UP Real-time Detection is provided with an Internal Control (MG/UU/UP IC). This MG/UU/UP IC enables the user to control and confirm the nucleic acid isolation procedure as well as checking possibility of PCR inhibition. NOT AVAILABLE IN US

Magicplex™ HSV 1/2 Amplification Simultaneous detection of Hepatitis A/B/C Using READ™ technology, this product simultaneously detects and discriminates between HSV 1 and HSV 2, on Real-time PCR. Herpes simplex Virus (HSV) Herpes simplex viruses 1 and 2 are two members of the herpes virus family, Herpesviridae, that infect humans. Both HSV 1 and 2 are ubiquitous and contagious. They lead to latent infection, recurring outbreaks, and permanent infection, and may cause pudendal and oral cancers. HSV 1 usually produces lesions on the face and in the mouth, and HSV 2 on the genitalia and the anus. Over 90% of adults carry the virus in a latent state, and over 80% of patients with cervical cancer occurring inside the vagina possess antibody for HSV 2. The main route of transmission for HSV 2 is sexual contact, and testing for HSV 2 infection may be considered as a step in preventing cervical cancer. NOT AVAILABLE IN US
