  • Obtained CE-IVD marking for Allplex™ STI Essential Assay Q(MH,UU)

Seegene has received CE-IVD mark under European Union on In Vitro Diagnostics Medical Devices for Allplex™ STI Essential Assay Q(MH,UU). This assays is a multiplex real-time PCR assay to simultaneously detect 7 pathogens causing sexually transmitted infections. Based on Seegene’s proprietary MuDT™ Technology, this assay reports multiple Ct value or quantitative result of each pathogen in a single channel. The quantitative result of Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum helps effective management of STIs.

  • Obtained CE-IVD marking for Allplex™ Bacterial Vaginosis Assay

Allplex™ Bacterial Vaginosis Assay simultaneously detects 7 bacteria (G. vaginalis, A. vaginae, Megasphaera type 1, BV-associated bacteria 2, Mobiluncus spp., B. fragilis, Lactobacillus spp.) associated with vaginosis. It provides quantitative information of 3 major bacteria (G. vaginalis, A. vaginae, Lactobacillus spp.).   Based on Seegene’s proprietary MuDT™ technology, this assay makes it possible to report individual Ct  value of multiple bacteria in a single channel. The CE-IVD mark will allow more opportunities for Seegene to market and sell within the European Union.   NOT AVAILABLE IN U.S.

  • Obtained CE-IVD marking for Allplex™ Genital ulcer Assay and Allplex™ Candidiasis Assay

Seegene has received CE-IVD mark under European Union on In Vitro Diagnostics Medical Devices for Allplex™ Genital ulcer Assay and Allplex™ Candidiasis Assay. Allplex™ Genital ulcer Assay detects 7 pathogens (HSV1, HSV2, CMV, VZV, LGV related CMV, T. pallidum, H. ducreyi ) causing genital ulcer simultaneously. Allplex™ Candidiasis Assay detects and differentiate 7 candida spp.(C. albicans, C. glabrata, C. tropicalis, C. parapsilosis, C. krusei, C. lusitaniae, C. dubliniensis )  causing candidiasis simultaneously. Based on Seegene’s proprietary MuDT™ technology, this assay makes it possible to report multiple Ct values of each pathogen in a single channel using real-time PCR instruments. The CE mark will allow more opportunities for Seegene to market and sell within the European Union.   NOT AVAILABLE IN U.S.

  • Launched Anyplex™ II STI-7 Detection

Anyplex™ II STI-7 Detection  Simultaneous detection of 7 STI causing pathogensAnyplex™ II STI-7 Detection detects 7 major STI causing pathogens in a single real-time PCR. Anyplex™ II STI-7 Detection enables the detection and differentiations of 7 major STI causative pathogens in a single real-time PCR reaction. The assay is based upon Seegene's proven DPO technology and its newly developed TOCE™ technology. A majority of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) can be asymptomatic and some have a high prevalence rate. If left untreated, they can become a major cause of diseases such as PID, extra uterine pregnancy, infertility, chronic pelvic pain, cervicitis and urethritis. Anyplex™ II STI-7 Detection is a test that not only prevents further spread of STIs but can also provide for effective STI treatments as it detects and differentiates the 7 major STI causative pathogens. Anyplex™ II STI-7 Detection is provided with on Internal control (STI-7 IC). This STI-7 IC enables the user can confirm the nucleic acid isolation and to check a possibility containig inhibitor.

  • Launched Anyplex™ TV/MH Real-time Detection

Detection of T. vaginalis and M. hominisAnyplex™ TV/MH Real-time Detection enables simultaneous detection of Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) and Mycoplasma hominis (MH) by multiplex Real-time PCR. ? Anyplex™ TV/MH Real-time Detection enables simultaneous detection of Trichomonas vaginalis (TV) and Mycoplasma hominis (MH) by multiplex Real-time PCR using urine specimen, swab specimen (urethral, vaginal and cervical) and liquid based cytology specimen. T. vaginalis and M. hominis are the pathogens associated with sexually transmitted infections such as urethritis, cervicitis, vaginitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and infertility. Fast and accurate diagnosis is important for treatments since most infections are asymptomatic. The conventional methods (ELISA, Giemsa stain, culture, etc.) for STD pathogen detection take several days or are poor in sensitivity. Anyplex™ TV/MH Real-time Detection is an accurate and rapid diagnostic method for the detection of T. vaginalis and M. hominis. Anyplex™ TV/MH Real-time Detection is provided with an Internal Control (TV/MH IC). This TV/MH IC enables the user to control and confirm the nucleic acid isolation procedure as well as checking possibility of PCR inhibition. NOT AVAILABLE IN US ?
